All applicants must be familiar with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, welding processes, SMAW, GTAW and FCAW. Must have previous welding experience. A valid CWI certification is a plus.
Familiar with NDT methods, visual, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, radiography experience helpful. Responsibilities: • Properly interpret client specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards. • Monitor all quality related activities on the project. • Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.

• Finalize specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. • Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements, etc. • Use a computer to compile and submit daily reports, inspection reports, and inter-office communications. • Verify that parts are made to the proper specifications on drawings.
• Provide QC documentation to customers internally as required. • Pay attention to detail and be capable of recommending and approving repairs as well as performing visual inspections of completed work. • Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility, customer, Authorized Inspector and Jurisdiction. • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: • 3-5 years’ experience working in an industrial/manufacturing setting. • Must be able to read blueprints, measuring devices, perform material verification, knowledge of ASME code jobs. • Proficient with standard computer software (MS Word and Excel) and be able to write detailed inspection reports while maintaining an organized system of files. • 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC activities.

• Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills with a positive team-oriented attitude are required. • Able to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers.
